    Tuesday 26 November, Ariane 5 completed a flawless launch from Europe’s spaceport at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), placing into orbit two telecommunications satellites: TIBA-1, developed by Thales Alenia Space and Airbus Defence & Space for the Egyptian government, and GX5, built by Thales Alenia Space for Inmarsat. The launch was the eighth of the year from the CSG, the fourth mission in 2019 for Ariane 5 and the 250th flight in the Ariane series.

    Thursday 16 January, Ariane 5 completed a flawless launch from the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), Europe’s spaceport in Kourou, orbiting two telecommunications satellites: EUTELSAT KONNECT, built by prime contractor Thales Alenia Space for Eutelsat, and GSAT-30, designed and built by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The launch was Ariane 5’s 107th flight, its first mission in 2020 and the first of the year from the CSG. It was also the 251st flight in the Ariane series.

    Tuesday 6 August, Ariane 5 completed a flawless launch from Europe’s spaceport at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), placing into geostationary transfer orbit two telecommunications satellites: Intelsat 39 for operator Intelsat, and EDRS-C for ESA and Airbus. The launch was Ariane 5’s 105th flight, its third in 2019 and the seventh of the year from the CSG.

    Tuesday 25 September, Ariane 5 will be sent aloft from the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), Europe’s spaceport in Kourou, to orbit two telecommunications satellites: Horizons 3e, built by Boeing for Intelsat and its partner SKY Perfect JSAT, and Azerspace-2/Intelsat 38, built by Space Systems Loral (SSL) for Azercosmos and Intelsat. The launch will mark Ariane 5’s 100th flight, its fourth in 2018 and the sixth of the year from the CSG.

    Ariane 5 ECA orbited Al Yah 3 and SES-14, 2 telecommunications satellites from The Guiana Space Centre on Thursday January, 25th. Arianespace - Ariane 5's launch operator - announces that the launcher’s liftoff took place on January 25, 2018 at 23:20 (Paris time). A few seconds after ignition of the upper stage, the second tracking station located in Natal, Brazil, did not acquire the launcher telemetry. This lack of telemetry lasted throughout the rest of powered flight. Subsequently, both satellites were confirmed separated, acquired and they are on orbit. SES-14 and Al Yah 3 are communicating with their respective control centers. Both missions are continuing.

    Friday 29 September 2017, Ariane 5 completed a flawless mission following its launch from Europe’s spaceport at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), orbiting two new telecommunications satellites: Intelsat 37e, built by Boeing for Intelsat, and BSAT-4a, built by Space Systems Loral (SSL) for the Broadcasting Satellite System Corporation (B-SAT). This was the European launcher’s 81st straight success since 2003, the ninth launch of the year from the CSG, and the fifth launch of Ariane 5 in 2017.

    Tuesday 5 September 2017, Ariane 5 will lift off from the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), Europe’s spaceport in Kourou, to place two telecommunications satellites into orbit: Intelsat 37e, built by Boeing for Intelsat, and BSAT-4a, built by Space Systems Loral (SSL) for the Broadcasting Satellite System Corporation (B-SAT). It will be the eighth launch of the year from the CSG, and the fifth launch of the year for Ariane 5, thereby bringing its total number of launches to 95.

This will be Ariane 5’s second flight in 2017, its 92nd in all and the fourth launch of the year from the CSG.
